These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of verifydocs.online (the "Service"), operated by VerifyDocs. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

VerifyDocs provides automated, preliminary document-analysis tools for general informational purposes. You may use the Service for lawful purposes only and must not misuse it or attempt to disrupt its operation.

2. No official verification

The Service performs preliminary checks and produces indicative results only. It is not an official or government verification service, does not access official databases, and its output does not constitute legal proof of a document's authenticity or of any person's identity. You are responsible for confirming important matters with the relevant issuing authority.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud, forgery or any unlawful activity.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Upload malware or content that could harm the Service or other users.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the files and information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the requested result. As described in our Privacy Policy, uploaded files are processed transiently and are not stored after processing.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, logos and software, is owned by VerifyDocs and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works from the Service without our permission, except as permitted by law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifyDocs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service's output. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.

8. Third-party links and ads

The Service may contain advertising and links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be indicated by updating the date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
