Why verifydocs.online was built
In today's digital India, we frequently need to share document numbers like Aadhaar and PAN for KYC, bank applications, and government forms. Often, we find ourselves searching for "Aadhaar validator" or "PAN checker" only to find websites that ask us to upload images or submit numbers to their servers.
As a creator from India, Mohit Kumar was concerned about how much sensitive data is being collected by third-party tools. verifydocs.online was built to fix this. My goal was to create a set of tools that are powerful enough to help you catch errors, but simple enough that they never need to "see" your data.
The "Zero-Upload" Promise
The core philosophy of verifydocs.online is simple: Your data should never leave your device. Every single tool on this website—from the Aadhaar Verhoeff algorithm to the PAN decoder—runs entirely using JavaScript in your own web browser. No databases, no storage, no logs. Just instant, private validation.
Who is behind this?
VerifyDocs.online is an independent project created and maintained by Mohit Kumar, a developer from India focused on practical utility tools, document-format education, and digital privacy. The project is intentionally small: it publishes browser-based validators, explanatory guides, and privacy-first utilities rather than collecting sensitive document data.
For feedback, corrections, and bug reports, contact support@verifydocs.online. Please do not send Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport, banking, or other sensitive document numbers by email.
What VerifyDocs does and does not do
VerifyDocs checks document-number formats, checksum rules, and visible structural patterns in your browser. It does not query UIDAI, Income Tax, GSTN, ECI, NPCI, Parivahan, or any other official government database, and it does not confirm a person's identity or legal document status.
