Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 26, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to verifydocs.online ("we," "our," or "us"). We understand that document numbers like Aadhaar, PAN, and GST are highly sensitive. That is why we built verifydocs.online with a "Privacy by Design" architecture. Unlike most online validators, we do not perform validation on a server. Every check you perform happens entirely within your own web browser.

2. Information We Collect

verifydocs.online does NOT collect, store, or transmit your document numbers. When you paste an Aadhaar number or a PAN card number into our tools, our JavaScript code processes that information locally on your device to check its format. This data is never sent to our servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with any third party.

3. Information We Don't Collect

To be absolutely clear, we do not collect:

  • Aadhaar Numbers (UID)
  • Permanent Account Numbers (PAN)
  • GST Identification Numbers (GSTIN)
  • Bank Account Numbers or IFSC Codes
  • Voter ID / EPIC Numbers
  • Passport or Driving License Numbers

Since we don't collect this data, we cannot "leak" it, sell it, or lose it in a data breach.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use standard cookies to improve user experience and analyze site traffic. These include:

  • Google Analytics: We use GA4 to understand how many visitors use our site, which tools are popular, and general geographic locations. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
  • Google AdSense: We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

6. Indian DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

verifydocs.online is committed to the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 of India. We follow the principle of data minimization by not collecting personal data that is not required for the service. Since the document numbers stay on your device, we are not a "Data Fiduciary" for that information under the Act. For the limited metadata we collect via cookies, we ensure your rights to information and transparency are upheld.

7. Data Retention

Because we do not collect your personal document data, we have zero retention of such data. Anonymous traffic data in Google Analytics is retained according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 14 months).

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we immediately delete it from our servers (though, as stated, we don't collect such data in the first place).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
